The Co-operative has been operating for over 100 years and have over 80,000 members of staff serving around 10 million customers. They needed a quick and effective way to communicate IT incidents with staff. The Co-op decided a Conference Call and Text Messaging service from Rapide would be the best solution.

Rapide setup the Co-operative with a fast, no-frills Conference Call and a Text Messaging service to enable them to communicate all IT incidents.
The Co-operative use Rapide’s Conference Call to discuss all IT incidents. They do this by logging on to our systems and setting up a Conference Call straight from their computers. They can text the PIN along with the time and date to whoever they need to attend. Rapide’s service automatically sends a reminder text 5 minutes before the conference ensuring everybody dials in on time.
The text messaging service works by sending out automated texts to all staff when there are problems with server availability.
