Email Messages are an effective way of encouraging customer sign up after they have completed the customer journey. An automated courtesy email sent to confirm an order can also contain a link to subscribe to your loyalty scheme, or an invite to join a forum. Subsequent target emails can then be sent out to inform customers of new products or offers which might be of interest to them.

 

Mobile Internet

Mobile Internet can be an effective way of collecting your customers’ details after they have left your premises. Rather than signing people up to a loyalty card in store and delaying other customers, they can simply be asked to leave their mobile numbers. A WAP link can then be sent straight to their phones allowing them to sign up online.
