Text Messages

Text Messages are a great way of engaging with employees about their availability to work. A simple message can be sent out to employees asking if they are free to cover a particular shift. Auditable replies mean that those in charge have an instant overview of who is available. Text Messages can also be sent as reminders ensuring that you are always at full complement. Voice

Voice messages are the ideal mode when you need to get more across than the 160 characters that a text message will allow. Call Rapide’s voice message service, record your message and it will be delivered to everyone for you - whether that's 3 or 30,000 mobile phones. Voice messages allow more urgency to be portrayed than a Text Message and it is the more cost effective option when you want to communicate the same high impact message across high numbers of staff quickly. Employees can be alerted to shifts which need filling urgently or opportunities for overtime.

 

Email

When your teams are global, or based over multiple sites, make sure they are included in important updates by alerting them to news via email. Emails can include links to web forms allowing employees to input their availability, and can have information on staff incentives and news.

 

 

Mobile Internet

Mobile Internet is an innovative way of talking to employees about rostering. WAP links (to an online form) can automatically be sent to your staff, triggered once the new shift pattern is available. This is an easy way of letting employees sign up for shifts or requesting overtime. You can audit who has received the message and who has logged on within minutes of sending.
