Nigel Shanahan
Managing Director
Nigel founded the company with a colleague from IBM in 1999. He has a BSc in Sports Science and Maths from Loughborough University, which explains his twin obsessions with football and figures, and in particular the combination of both in the premier league. Nigel's hands-on business experience is underpinned by an MBA from Warwick University. |

Sam Taylor
Client Manager
Sam's a long standing member of the team, joining Rapide as an account manager in 2001 after 8 years in telecommunications sales with Cable & Wireless and then Vodafone. He graduated in Politics from Stirling University. Imaginative cake making (for his children) and art keep him in touch with his creative side in his spare time. His calorie intake is balanced out - at least in theory - by his recent completion of the Flora London Marathon.

Duncan Ramm
Client Executive
Duncan came to Rapide in Autumn 2007 as a Client Executive. Rapide’s adventurer is most likely to be found doing something energetic and thrilling outside of work hours, like climbing to the base camp of Mount Everest in the Himalayas or trekking through the Inca Trails of Peru.

Mike McMaster
Product Manager
After graduating with a degree in Business Studies, Mike worked for six years in international product management enjoying the glamorous travel followed by five years in direct sales for professional services. He joined Rapide Communication in 2006 and thinks that sea sailing is what makes life exciting. |

Ian Bourne
Client Consultant
After 7 years at Moretech in Alcester as a Technical Support Manager, Ian joined Rapide Communication in 2001. Outside of Rapide, he enjoys football (that’s watching, not playing) in particular his beloved Tranmere Rovers. He also has a great fondness for drinking real ale. |

Liam Gilleran
Client Consultant
Liam has been a member of Rapide’s technical team since joining as an apprentice in 2005. Since turning 18 - the novelty of the pub has not worn off yet – you are likely to find him frequenting the local establishment at the weekends. Annette Mulryan
Head of Account Management
Annette began her career at Rapide in early October 2007 as a Client Executive after many years in the Telecommunications industry. When not at Rapide, Annette enjoys regular trips to the gym and visiting new places throughout the UK (and beyond). When she’s not travelling, she likes nothing more than shopping till she drops. Her motto – “the bigger the heels, the better”! |

Hazel Turner
Channel Development Manager
Following 8 years in account management for Gael Quality (where she got to travel throughout Europe), Hazel moved south from her native Scotland and joined Rapide in 2006. Outside Rapide Hazel is now a proud mother to young Max, her first 'wee bairn'.

Carli Clark
Account Manager
Carli joined Rapide Communication in 2004. She has a wealth of knowledge from her customer service background and enjoys communicating with her customers on a daily basis. When not at work, she likes nothing more than settling down with a good book (to recover from her hard partying at the weekends). |

Marian Morrison
Account Manager
Marian is one of Rapide's longstanding members of staff and has been with the company since 2002. Outside of work she likes to spend time with her family and friends – usually with a nice, chilled glass of wine in hand. |

Mindy Sidhu
Rapide Assistant
Mindy joined Rapide Communication in 2006 after 5 years previously at Cable & Wireless. After a long day she likes to ‘chill out’ by listening to music and watching her favourite films. She focuses her after work attention on her crafts (especially her exquisite handmade cards) and spending quality time with her young son. |

Di Nickle
Rapide Assistant
Di joined Rapide in early 2007 after spending 11 years teaching adults with learning difficulties. Outside of work Di enjoys spending time with her beloved Grandson Reece, her husband and children. When not socializing with friends and family Di can be found exercising both her dogs (on their many walks together) and her vocal cords at her local singing group! |

Service Delivery Manager
Ted joined Rapide Communication in 2004 after 25 years' industry experience in IT and communications infrastructure. After his wife and family, he rates motorbikes, music and his silkie bantams (I understand they are chickens) as the most important things to enjoy in life. |

Matthew Lakey
Marketing Media Executive
After 8 years in technical sales Matt joined Rapide Communication in 2002. He gained a degree in psychology from Manchester Metropolitan University and in his spare time he can be found playing guitar and singing in venues across the country. |

Yiannis Maos
Marketing Media Executive
Yiannis joined the team in 2007 as a student on the Shell STEP project. A few months later he was given a permanent position with the company. When he’s not at Rapide he likes putting his hand to directing (the next big documentary is on its way) – Stephen Spielberg, watch this space! |

Julie Stubbs
Head of Finance and Administration
Julie has been a Chartered Certified Accountant for over 14 years and is now a Fellow. She gained a degree in Systems and Management and after working in industry for the last 18 years, most recently at Ryder, she joined Rapide in 2004. |

Claire Faller
Office Manager
Claire’s a long standing member of the team at Rapide Communication. She joined after completing her NVQ (Level 3) in Business Administration at Warwickshire College, and in 2004 she progressed to the position of Office Manager. She’s dutiful in both work and play – outside of work she is preparing for her role as bridesmaid. Her outside of work activities include keeping fit at the gym and shopping. |

Ian Hurst
Development Manager
Ian joined Rapide in 2001 after graduating with a degree in Computer Science from the University of Warwick. Since then he has gone on to study towards an MSc in Information Security at the University of London. When he’s not building Rapide software and playing on his computer (for fun), the avid sportsman can be found training for marathons, playing football and practising his trick shots in snooker.

Duncan Morton
Senior Developer
Duncan, our longest standing team member in the company (with the exception of the MD) has been with Rapide since September 2000. Learning to play the guitar and playing golf are ranked as some of his favourite things to do. |

Mohammad Shahzad
Senior Developer
After 4 years at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Mohammed graduated with a degree in Business and Software Development before joining Rapide. He spends his spare time beating his opponents on the squash and badminton courts (and it’s usually two against one!). He does everything with ease – even winning. |

Hardeep Johal
Rant & Rave Product Manager
Hardeep joined the Rapide team after graduating from the University of Birmingham with an honours degree in Computer Science. When not working hard developing new Rapide products, you will find him down the gym, working just as hard training for the many half marathons he is signed up for this year!
