Nigel Shanahan
Managing Director
Nigel founded the company with a colleague from IBM in 1999. He has a BSc in Sports Science and Maths from Loughborough University, which explains his twin obsessions with football and figures, and in particular the combination of both in the Premier League. Nigel's hands-on business experience is underpinned by an MBA from Warwick University. |

Mike McMaster
Head of Products & Services
After graduating with a degree in Business Studies, Mike worked for six years in international product management enjoying the glamorous travel followed by five years in direct sales for professional services. He joined Rapide Communication in 2006 and thinks that sea sailing is what makes life exciting. |

Hardeep Johal
Product Manager
Hardeep joined the Rapide team after graduating from the University of Birmingham with an honours degree in Computer Science. When not working hard developing new Rapide products, you will find him down the gym, working just as hard training for the many half marathons he is signed up for this year!

Liam Gilleran
Product Innovation Executive
Liam has been a member of Rapide’s technical team since joining as an apprentice in 2005. Although he has now turned 21, he still struggles to get served for the Lottery. Ian Bourne
Project Manager
After 7 years at Moretech in Alcester as a Technical Support Manager, Ian joined Rapide Communication in 2001. Outside of Rapide, he enjoys football (that’s watching, not playing) in particular his beloved Tranmere Rovers. He also has a great fondness for drinking real ale.

Duncan Ramm
Client Manager
Duncan came to Rapide in Autumn 2007 as a Client Executive. Rapide’s adventurer is most likely to be found doing something energetic and thrilling outside of work hours, like climbing to the base camp of Mount Everest in the Himalayas or trekking through the Inca Trails of Peru.

Hazel Turner
Channel Manager
Following 8 years in account management for Gael Quality (where she got to travel throughout Europe), Hazel moved south from her native Scotland and joined Rapide in 2006. Outside Rapide Hazel is now a proud mother to young Max, her first 'wee bairn'.

Rew Golding
Client Manager
Rew joined Rapide in early 2011 with 8 years experience working in the mobile sector across diverse areas such as Finance, Public Sector, TV & Radio. Outside of work Rew spends his time with his new family and can be found reading the Gruffalo (again!) to his daughter Daisy, playing football (where of course he could have been a pro...), throwing himself down hills on a mountain bike, listening to any type of music that is floating his boat at the time or trying (badly) to whip up a fine à la carte delight from the latest Jamie Oliver...

Jeff Green
Client Manager
Jeff joined Rapide in February 2011 and is responsible for working with a variety of FTSE organisations. Within his role he assists clients in overcoming communication challenges by recommending the best services and solutions to fit their needs. Jeff studied Applied Geology at Oxford Brookes University and has an MSc in Mineral Exploration from the University of Leicester.

Carli Clark
Service Manager
Carli joined Rapide Communication in 2004. She has a wealth of knowledge from her customer service background and enjoys communicating with her customers on a daily basis. When not at work, she likes nothing more than settling down with a good book (to recover from her hard partying at the weekends).

Marian Morrison
Service Manager
Marian is one of Rapide's longstanding members of staff and has been with the company since 2002. Outside of work she likes to spend time with her family and friends – usually with a nice, chilled glass of wine in hand.

James Long
Client Executive
James graduated from Bristol with a degree in Business Studies. Before joining Rapide in early 2011 he worked as a branch manager at Enterprise. Out of work he enjoys football, driving and socialising. After a recent trip to Vegas he's also caught the poker bug and can often be found online or around a poker table, although he's not ready to be checked in to rehab just yet...!

Mindy Sidhu
Rapide Personal Assistant
Mindy joined Rapide Communication in 2006 after 5 years at Cable & Wireless, in 2010 she progressed to the RPA team leader. After a long day she likes to ‘chill out’ by listening to music and watching her favourite films. She focuses her after work attention on keeping fit and spending quality time with her family.

Di joined Rapide in early 2007 after spending 11 years teaching adults with learning difficulties. Outside of work Di enjoys spending time with her beloved Grandson Reece, her husband and children. When not socialising with friends and family Di can be found exercising both her dogs (on their many walks together) and her vocal cords at her local singing group!

Hannah joined the Rapide team in 2010. She has ten years of experience in customer service roles. Outside of work she likes to indulge in retail therapy and a good glass of vino.

Ted McCluskey
Service Delivery Manager
Ted joined Rapide Communication in 2004 after 25 years' industry experience in IT and communications infrastructure. After his wife and family, he rates motorbikes, music and his silkie bantams (I understand they are chickens) as the most important things to enjoy in life. |

Yiannis Maos
Marketing Manager
Yiannis joined the team in 2007 as a student on the Shell STEP project. A few months later he was given a permanent position with the company. In 2010 he progressed to the role of Marketing Manager. When he’s not at Rapide he likes putting his hand to directing (the next big documentary is on its way) - Stephen Spielberg, watch this space!

Jennifer Morris
Marketing, PR & Research Executive
Jen graduated with a degree in English & American Studies in 2008. As part of her course she spent a year studying and travelling in the US where she fell in love with San Francisco. She joined Rapide in early 2010.

Chris Edmunds
Multimedia Design Executive
After graduating with an Animation degree, with high hopes of creating the British Family Guy, those dreams were shattered when the harsh realities of breaking into the industry set in. Rapide arrived like a sunbeam through the dark clouds and enabled him to finally spill his creative juices before his bubble of design burst. Chris can’t get through a day without eating cheese, but thankfully he's been through rehab and won the battle against his pork pie addiction.

Julie Stubbs
Head of Finance and Commercial
Julie has been a Chartered Certified Accountant for over 14 years and is now a Fellow. She gained a degree in Systems and Management and after working in industry for the last 18 years, most recently at Ryder, she joined Rapide in 2004. |

Claire Westhead
Finance Manager
Claire’s a long standing member of the team at Rapide Communication. She joined after completing her NVQ (Level 3) in Business Administration at Warwickshire College, in 2004 she progressed to the position of Office Manager, and in 2011 Finance Executive. Her outside of work activities include keeping fit at the gym and shopping.

Joseph Carney
Business Operations Executive
Joe graduated from Birmingham University in 2007 before going travelling around the USA for three months. He enjoys Blues, Jazz, and a good baguette. He joined Rapide as a graduate in January 2010.

Alannah joined the Rapide team in 2010. Outside of work she can normally be found shopping or socialising with friends.

Duncan Morton
Senior Software Developer
Duncan, our longest standing team member in the company (with the exception of the MD) has been with Rapide since September 2000. Learning to play the guitar and playing golf are ranked as some of his favourite things to do.

Dongnan Zheng
Software Developer
Dongnan joined Rapide in 2008 after graduating with an MSc degree in Information Systems and Management from the University of Warwick. She got her bachelor degree in Software Engineering in China. She spends her spare time with friends travelling and jogging and not long ago she found her new interest in baking cakes.

Sam Tulip
Graduate Developer
Sam graduated in 2010 with a first class honours degree in Computer Science from Coventry University, he joined Rapide in December of the same year. Outside of work he enjoys world cinema, manga and anime and team based online gaming.

Amon graduated with a degree in BSc Computer Science from Coventry University. Outside of work he enjoys travelling and playing rugby.
