Rapide’s latest recruit, Yiannis Maos, has reached the UK finals of the Shell Step programme.
After tough competition in the regional rounds, Yiannis powered through to get the accolade of ‘Most Enterprising Student’, gaining a sought after place in the UK finals.
The Shell Step programme placed 41 under-graduates with small and medium sized companies across the region to look at particular challenges in developing the business.
Yiannis was tasked with developing innovative ideas to help Rapide. The first project he was involved in was the Marketing Forum – a sales event on a cruise ship. He was asked to come up with a presentation to accompany a promotional pack given out on board the ship. He also developed the web page for the event.
For his second project he helped to develop Rapide’s Rant and Rave website showing the products capabilities, whilst ensuring it was in keeping with the Rapide brand.
