Rapide Communication has been based at the University of Warwick Science Park’s Business Innovation Centre in Binley, Coventry since it was founded in 2000. But now the 22-strong firm, which provides electronic messaging technology, is moving to larger premises at a new site.
The company is moving to Heron House, at another University of Warwick Science Park site, in Sir William Lyons Road, Coventry.
Rapide Communication is a software firm which offers a mobile phone service which enables corporate customers to send out text, media and voice messages to communicate with thousands of staff and customers simultaneously.
Managing Director, Nigel Shanahan said: “It's an exciting time. The business is growing and in the last couple of years we have expanded our product range and set ambitious targets.
“Being based at the Science Park has been a major help in our growth and we wouldn’t be in this position today without them.”
Nigel added: “We are moving to larger premises and this will enable us to further promote our identity. Moving to a new centre is part of our expansion.”
Karen Aston, Business Innovation Centre manager at Binley, said the company had grown in both size and stature over the past seven years. |
