Blue Tongue - National Farmers' Union use Rapide to advise 20,000 farmers!
Date:

Blue Tongue was declared an official outbreak last week, causing more distress for British farmers. The National Farmers’ Union (NFU) ensured that their members were kept up to date with any new developments. Rapide’s simple solution made this happen.
The NFU’s President, Peter Kendall recorded a voice message through Rapide. Moments later it was on its way to over 20,000 livestock farmers in England to keep them up to date with the latest news and developments on the outbreak. Up to date information is vital – farmers need to know the latest situation to help prevent a UK wide spread of the disease.

Peter Kendall said on the topic,
“This news is not unexpected, but it will still come as a bitter blow to farmers across a large swathe of Eastern England.
“Blue Tongue is a nasty disease, which represents a very real threat to the welfare of farm animals, as well as to the economics of livestock farming.”
