Spotlight on ... Utilities
Utility companies will be facing many new challenges over the coming year, from global warming - a major concern in the press at the moment, the ever changing weather causing problems for both homes and businesses throughout the UK, to the problems of sustainable energy as all over the world we are using more and more natural resources each day.

The recent bad weather and flooding has caused a surge in alerts sent from the Environment Agency, with 22% of June’s messages being sent on one day towards the end of the month.
