Rumours are your worst enemy

When uncertainty strikes and people are left worrying about their money, homes, jobs or livelihood it is important to keep them well informed so that rumours don’t fuel a frenzy. Rapide can help you to do this in a variety of different ways.

For rapid or frequent bursts of information that you need to get out we offer two services:

• SMS broadcast: where you can send an SMS with less than 160 characters to an infinite amount of people to keep them informed. The message can be sent either as a standard SMS message that will be sent to a recipients inbox as usual, or as a “flash” message that will bypass the inbox and sit directly on the front screen of a mobile. The Flash Message is usually used for emergencies.
  
• Voice broadcast: A voice message of less than 3 minutes in length can be sent out to an infinite number of landlines or mobiles. The message can be sent so that it is played out live to a recipient if they are able to answer the call or can be directly straight their voicemail.

For more lengthy communication where there is a requirement to broadcast an announcement or a speech we have two services that allow you to do this too:

• An announcement service whereby the information is pre-recorded and an alert is sent out to an infinite amount of people asking them to dial-in to our platform to listen to the announcement, at their convenience. We can also set the service up so any listeners who want to give feedback afterwards, can.
  
• A conferencing service that allows a fully interactive discussion to take place for up to 20 participants.

And finally, in order to learn whether there are any unnecessary rumours being circulated so that you can act upon them immediately, we have a powerful service that automatically searches blogs and forums on the Internet for you. We run the sites through our Sentiment Engine which is a clever piece of software that uses code to understand whether what is being written about you is positive or negative. The information is displayed using our online dashboard, called Rant & Rave, so you have 24 x 7 access to view what is being said about you behind you back and whether it is positive or negative, so you can act on anything untoward immediately.
