Rapide appoints Chief Natural Language Processing Engineer
Coventry, West Midlands - November 8th, 2011: Rapide, the Moments of Truth Company, is delighted to announce the appointment of Viktor Pekar to the role of Chief Natural Language Processing Engineer.
The appointment comes as part of Rapide’s continued investment into service development, and demonstrates its commitment to reinforcing its position as market leaders in using real-time text analytics to help big brands monitor the voice of their customers.
A respected expert in his field, Pekar holds a PhD in Natural Language Processing from the University of Wolverhampton and has several years of industry experience. Most recently, Pekar held the position of Chief NLP Developer for Market Sentinel where he designed ground breaking multilingual text analytics software for social media monitoring. Before joining Market Sentinel, Pekar also served as a Language Data Engineer for Oxford University Press.
