On the 25th May while most people were enjoying the soaring temperatures on a Bank Holiday, staff at Rapide were coming together to take part in the London 10k. All the team including friends and family managed to complete the Olympic course and raise over £550 for their local charity, Myton Hospice.
Nigel Shanahan, Managing Director was clearly proud of all the staff who took part:
"It's great to see so many of us come together for such a good cause. Everyone has made a fantastic effort in completing the race, a big thanks should go out to everyone who sponsored us. We will continue to support Myton Hospice and help them in a variety of ways." Nigel helped get the sponsorship started and generously donated his £250 fee from speaking at Warwick Business School.
In the upcoming month's Rapide will offer Myton Hospice the chance to use their technology free of charge. This will be used to contact people via SMS, Voice and Email about upcoming events, sponsorship opportunities and important announcements.
