Three steps to successful employee engagement

Actively encourage employee feedback…

Many companies ask employees for their feedback but few actively encourage them to raise their concerns. Going through the motions of asking for ideas is not enough. The most effective way to gather employee feedback is to do it in real-time, straight after you’ve made an announcement or a significant change. Allowing employees to give you their thoughts via an IVR link on the back of a voice message or by sending a text message is an easy way to encourage them to share their views while it’s still fresh in their minds.



Keep in touch…

There’s very little more de-motivating than offering an idea and feeling like your voice has gone unheard. It’s just as important to feedback to your employees who have given you ideas as it is to listen to them.
