Whitbread’s newsletter, ‘Liquid Gold’, targets their pub and bar staff across the UK.
Whitbread wanted an innovative way to get their staff involved in the newsletter and to encourage bars to make the most of their point of sale displays. And it needed to be quick and easy. They asked Rapide to help.
The solution
Rapide’s Multi- Media Messaging Service (MMS) allows all staff with a camera enabled mobile phone to send picture messages straight into the Whitbread newsletter competition.
The Rapide system is very easy to use. The bar staff simply text in the pictures of their Bar Displays to the phone number shown on the Liquid Gold newsletter. The team at Whitbread can view all the pictures online straightaway. The best pictures are chosen by the Whitbread team and the winners are included in the next newsletter.
